Thomas Adamczyk, LICSW, CEAP, BCD

 is the founder and clinical director of Lynnfield Psychological Associates.  He did his undergraduate studies at Saint Leo University and his graduate studies at Boston Unversity School of Social Work.  Tom did post graduate work at Rutgers University where he studied Addiction.  He has passed the national boards and recieved the highest level of clinical certifcate as a Board Certified Diplomate  in Clinical Social Worker. Tom  has taken extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Hypnotherapy,  Family Therapy and Addictions. 
Prior to founding LPA, Tom supervised psychiatric and medical programs for the Veterans Administration Health Care System.  He was the Director of the Employee Assistance Program for the Veteran Administration Health Care System, Boston. 
Clinically, Tom specialized in Male Issues, Addictions, Depression, Dissociative Disorders, Behavioral Medicine, Anxiety & Phobias; Truama (War and Sexual Abuse), Grief and Terminal Illness; and Spiritual Difficulties.  Over the years he also has devoted extensive time doing corporate consultation and training including executive coaching, employee intervention, motivation and productivity training.  He has specialized  in working with personnel to cope with corporation going through major changes - mergers and acquistion.
Tom has taught many courses in the university setting - Northeastern University, Newbury College, Middlesex Community College and he was an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Social Work.  He has given professional speeches to conferences and workshops throughout the United States. He has been a guest on both televison and radio programs.
Presently, he is semi-retired; however,  Tom continues to supervised the clinical staff of LPA.  He maintains a limited clinical caseload and corporate training schedule so that he can devote time traveling around the world and golfing.
